Our mobile pet grooming van is custom-designed with air conditioning, heat, electricity, and water, and relies on no outside electrical or water hookups. We are environmentally friendly! The van’s spacious interior helps pets maneuver easily and enhances the groomer’s ability to ensure all of the pet’s needs are met. Aussie Pet Mobile is 100% cage-free, one-on-one attention in the comfort of our client’s driveway.
 
 
Job Summary
Our bathers/groomers are the front-line welcoming committee to our services and will create lasting positive relationships not just with pets, but their owners as well. The following is an overview of the groomer position:

  • Review the day’s schedule online
  • AM daily van checklist; fuel, supplies, clean & secure
  • Cover bathing procedures with the client & collect the pet(s)
  • Bathe / Groom the pet(s) as discussed with the client
  • Return them to the client as if they were your own
  • Collect payment, rebook appointment, and make notes
  • PM daily van checklist; thorough van cleaning, fill water tank and empty waste tank, note fuel level, restock supplies, close out appointments.
  • Clean van thoroughly once a month (inside and out)

Potential candidates must love pets, have a clean driving record, and be able to work independently without direct supervision. Must be able to communicate with pet family members about what is best for their pet.
Need to have previous grooming experience. Pet handling skills are also beneficial but not necessary as we will train you to safely handle pets for their benefit and yours. If you really love animals this is the perfect career path for you. Our groomers develop a close and special relationship with every pet they care for and with their families as well.  Generous commissions and excellent tips provide an outstanding income opportunity and the chance to turn your love of pets into a career that can support you for a lifetime. Earn up to $1,500.00 or more per week.

Qualifications
  • Must be at least 21 years of age for insurance purposes.
  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Passion for Customer Service - you must be the kind of person that cares about putting the client and pet first and making them happy every single time.
  • Dependability - the clients and pets are depending on you to be there!
  • Animal Handling Experience - you are professional, and you can handle pets safely and with compassion.
  • Attention to Detail - the details matter here; the clients and pets will thank you for this!
  • Motivation to Earn Great Money - yes, it’s all about the pets, but we don’t do what we do only for dog kisses, we want you to have a rewarding income. The more pets you groom, the more money you make!
  • Amazing Time Management Skills - you’re the kind of person that likes a schedule and can stick to a timeline.
  • Independent - you will be working alone most of the time, but feel free to chat as much as you like with the pets, they love it!
 
Compensation: $250.00 - $375.00 per day
